Serving our Redland Family
Children’s Ministry
Redland’s Children’s Ministry has a variety of areas and schedules in which volunteers can serve. In fact, many of these positions do not require any experience with children and you may be surprised at how well God has equipped you to serve in one of these roles!
Here are some areas that may fit your talents and skills:
- Tech Team
- Puppet Team
- Regular Nursery Rotation
- Substitute Nursery Volunteer
- Children’s Church Team
- Redland Academy
None of these sound right for you? Tell us what you have a heart for and we’ll find a spot for you to serve!
**All Children’s Ministry Volunteers will be required to submit a clean background check BEFORE beginning work within this ministry**
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry at RBC can only function with volunteers from a wide range of life stages and experience. We know you may be scared of teenagers, but don’t be! Many of our Youth Ministry Volunteers are encouraged and excited for the future of our church and that’s all because of their work with our youth.
Here are some areas that may fit your talents and skills:
- Sunday School Substitute
- Trip/Activity Chaperone
- Redland University Teacher
- Redland University Facilitator
None of these sound right for you? Tell us what you have a heart for and we’ll find a spot for you to serve!

Wednesday Night Food Team
Every Wednesday evening throughout the school year, Redland Baptist Church holds Bible Study and Life Skills classes for children and youth in our community. One of the most attractive parts of these evening activities for families is that dinner is served!
Our Food Team can use help in many ways that fit your availability. Here are a few:
- Set Up

- Serving
- Clean Up
- Food or Monetary Donations
Bus Ministry
Redland has a heart for making sure that every kid who wants to attend our Wednesday Night Activities are able to attend. To make sure this happens, we run four bus routes (for now) and are always looking for ways to expand this ministry. Our bus ministry needs reliable, punctual individuals to help.
Here are a few ways you can help this ministry tick:
- Driver (Must be 25 years old and have a valid driver’s license)
- Rider
- Bus Maintenance (Ensures buses are regularly cranked and all routine maintenance is completed)
Worship Team
Our Worship Team plays two services on Sunday Mornings every week. We are always in need of talented individuals to serve on this team. If you play an instrument or have a passion for singing, let us know and we would love to see how you fit with this ministry!
Production Team
Ever wonder who the true heroes are in the background on Sunday Mornings? They’re up in the Sound Booth. Our Production Team works throughout the week to make sure that our Sunday Services and Midweek Activities go off without a hitch. You don’t need any experience, just a willingness to learn and availability for practice on Thursday evenings.
Here are a few ways you can serve our Production Team:
- Sound
- Video
- Sermon/Music Visuals
- Design
